Dr. Asal Caskey: Practice Owner/Medical Director
Hi! I’m Asal Caskey and the owner of Spring Mill Veterinary Hospital. I have been a veterinarian in general practice and emergency medicine for over 13 years, working in both PA on the main line and in NJ. I graduated from UPenn School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and went on to complete a 1-year rotating internship at CARES in Langhorne. After my internship training was complete, I spent 3 years working exclusively in emergency medicine. There, I was able to not only gain a great deal of experience but was really humbled and in awe of witnessing the human animal bond. I also came to understand the emotional difficulties that come with being a pet parent facing hard medical decisions. I spent the next 9 years working on the main line as a general practitioner and really loved having a rapport with my regular clients. Here I was able to learn more about my patients and their families’ lives and worked with my clients to have positive outcomes for their pets’ long-term health.
I have 2 amazing daughters who are both animal lovers, nature explorers, empathic friends, and imaginators. I cannot wait to see who they become as they grow!
Our home would not be complete without our furry family: Mr. Wall-E McWallington the 3rd, as pictured! Little Miss MishMish the mud princess shih poo. And our two cuddly cats: Mama cat and her big baby Growl Growl.

Lisa Park: Practice Manager and Head Client Service Representative
I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. One that I now see in my own daughter. That passion naturally gravitated me towards animals not just in my home life but in a professional capacity. I have volunteered with rescues since I was 13. From there, I was able to experience shelter medicine and surgeries. Early on I knew that veterinary medicine was a part of me. I have had the opportunity to work with Veterinarians on the Main Line for 10 years now. I started as a technician assistant. I eagerly learned everything I could. A few years later I advanced to the role of technician. After an injury, I started working as a client service representative. In that role I learned that client relations and education play a key part in pet and family wellness. I quickly came to love that aspect of the job too! That love and passion propelled me into a management role. While my role has changed since I first started, my desire to be there for animals, and their pet parents, needs has not. I want what is best for every pet in their unique day to day lives. At home my daughter and I share our love with our two fur babies Leonardo and our Darling Darwin.

Deanna Arentzen: Technician Assistant
Deanna is a Conshohocken native who lives in town with her husband and baby girl, as well as her two adorable rambunctious pups! Deanna has been with Spring Mill Vet since our exclusively mobile days, and is a critical member of the team. She is excellent with client communication and is happy to be helping take care of her fellow Conshy neighbors’ pets.
